We are lucky to have an amazing team of Pilates instructors at Bodyworks. Claire, Caroline and Katrina are the three physios who teach Pilates but we have four additional qualified Pilates instructors in the team who are amazing, Jo, Debby, Alice and Christine. Dog lovers here too! 


Jo has been teaching Pilates for 12 years now and thinks that it is such a clever and mindful form of exercise. The great thing too is that it is accessible to all, regardless of age or fitness level. 
There are many physical benefits, but Pilates also brings about a real sense of relaxation and focus. "It is wonderful to see students progress and bring about positive changes in their posture and quality of movement" 
As well as her passion for Pilates, Jo is an avid Yogi and Holistic Therapist, practising reflexology and aromatherapy. 
Jo loves being outside in nature with her husband, two girls and dog Otto, walking in the woods or on the beach. 
Jo says "one of my favourite things to do is go to see a musical in the West End and have a delicious meal out" 


Alice loves teaching Pilates because it's accessible for everyone -"from people in chronic pain with limited mobility to elite athletes". She thinks it provides people with the scaffolding their body needs in order to carry out daily activities and other exercise pain free. "Bodyworks is a great clinic to teach Pilates in with a warm and friendly atmosphere" 
Alice is also a massage therapist with 13 years experience. She provides sports and remedial massage treatments from her studio in shrub end. 
Alice's hobbies are reading, watching tv - "love the Great British Bake off and the Sewing Bee, Strictly and crime dramas". She also loves walking her Border terrier Roscoe, Alice is also learning to play the piano again and she loves cooking. 


Debby enjoys teaching because Pilates is attainable to all types of people no matter what level of fitness, past or recent injuries or restrictions. there is always the ability to do something. 
Being part of Bodyworks allows her the opportunity to work with a variety of people with different goals and needs. Debby says "it is incredibly fulfilling to see people meeting their goals, feeling better, healthier and improving as the weeks go on" 
In her spare time, Debby loves being with her family, walking and loves a pub meal! She enjoys staying fit with dance and yoga, as well as Pilates of course! Debby also enjoys a good movie, something musical based like Bohemian Rhapsody.
